Medical Waste Shredders Series 3 efficiently shred personal protective products like surgical gowns, disposable gloves, face shields, and goggles as well as tubing, plastic sheets, glassware, and more. All models have 3/4″ wide cutters and require 3-phase power. Larger shred widths are available up to 3″ wide.

Medical Waste Shredders Series 3 are available in 30 to 75 horsepower models and were engineered for this specific application. Everything from the hopper size to the cutter profile is carefully considered to ensure you obtain the shred size and throughput you require.

Medical Waste Shredders Series 3 are available with a ram to assist with hopper feeding when shredding bulky materials. Add integrated input and output conveyors to create a dump and run system that limits employee contact. Medical waste shredders utilize bearing protection through the use of false walls and seals. They also include individual cleaning fingers that reduce wrapping and material packing between the cutters.

Medical Waste Shredders Series 3 are slow speed, high torque dual shaft shredders that ensure less downtime, noise, and dust emission than high-speed two-shaft shredders. These medical waste shredders can be used “pre” or “post” sterilization to help reduce volume, thereby reducing transportation and disposal costs.
